'PINK DELICATE AFFAIR"ITS GOT TO BE A GIRL

Well! well! well! I'm back, i have been such a bad girl and neglected this baby of mine but not because i wanted to but because i hadn't had any interesting encounters to blog about.Until i had a project to plan a baby shower for my younger sister. I have attended  a couple of baby showers but  never  organise one,So ((((BOOM))) i had one now to organise but i couldn't do it on my own so a task team had to be formed and who better than her friends.Planning was not quite easier so we had to involve the madam herself ,cause she once mention that she doesn't want a surprise shower as she wants it in a particular order and way that's gonna make her happy*such cheekiness and attitude*

 

So the date was chosen with her,and me with the task team had to organise the invitation,food and refreshment which we did without any hassle,then the little Missy had to meet with the catering lady to choose her colour scheme and the decor she wanted ,of which she did cause she was literally happy with the end results .Cause it was not a surprise baby shower as everyone expected it to be the guest were surprised to know that she knew about it.the shock they had*priceless and funny*Babies are cute kind of make one feel broody, well i didnt cant imagine the sleepless nights one will have to deal with.i love my sleep.

 

 

I chose to focus on the main people of the event which is Mr & Mrs baby shower if theres such name.well the Mr came late for the event as the main event is a normally a girl thing *lucky us*

WHAT MAKES A WOMEN BEAUTIFUL

I always have had this question in my mind but never  got to question it to anyone but the question has always bothered me at how to we look at the beauty  of a woman and who gets to decide  that this is  what beauty should be like.

In my honest opinion i believe that  the beauty of  any  woman lies in her heart and how she carries herself.somehow we seem to be blinded by the media  feeding us with the delusion of a beautiful woman  as someone in  makeup,luxury designer brands,drives a  top of  the range car and lives in fancy residential area,and all the picture perfect  women we see  in the magazines and other forms of media.dont get me wrong im not saying the media is  wrong,its their job and their making the most of it  as anybody would do with their job.

 

We live in a beautiful country that has an amazing multitutes of beauty.we should never let anyone or anything define what beauty is to us.so lets love ourselves and appreciate the way we are self love is important.and every morning we must remeber to have this bowl and see how it will boost us.

 

 

So here's the list of the questions that has always bothered me and to get us thinking,feel free to answer them in any way possible you feel what defines beauty to you.

 

1. why do men  think they can or should influence  the way  we dress?.

SCENTS GIRL

For the past few months i have been  short of words and  and i have not had  a chance to breath or do anything of my favourite hobbies*sigh*its been  a maniac whirlwind of emotions  and uncertainty at work,But im glad its over  and now that we are slowly approaching summer which is a tease though, I think we should start smelling like summer  and abandon our winter fragrances which i belive we a little heavy and warm.Opting for something light and summery will work for summer!!


Im one person suffering from sinuses and it gets worse during this period they act up so much and end up affecting my eyes .But that doesn't  stop a girl  from picking her favourite scent and smelling  good to compliment  the beauty of the sunny weather.A girl can never go wrong with a good smell cause when you smell good you feel good and your confidence builds up and we all know that  confidence is attractive.So go on  and put some scents in your life  whether your.

• All natural girl -look for something with sandalwood,pine and moss you know your natures prodcut.
• Pretty party girl -try something flowery
• Glambabe - look for muskier scent
• Summerbabe - something fruity wiil work wonders

So what your waiting for ,own it  after all its your .let the smell  linger longer in their mind long after your gone.

I was intoduced to the world of perfume by someone who hold a very special place in my heart .and i so love  this miss cherie its girly girl and makes me feel like a real cherrie*wink*not for eating you know.

well as we all know most people love the no5 chanel,this one evokes the goddess in me smell so divine and real feminine.

 

 

love all the dkny delicious for the obvious reason they are delicious.for my playfull mood i use the dkny.after all can  never have one scent.

 

 

 

Im not a gaga fan but this is the best thing eve happened  to her.after all the evil she is belived to be *chuckes*dont have any comments about that none whatsoever.but i fell inlove with this  perfume  1st day i tried it on in a certain storeThe way i love it its even on my birthday wishlist im crossing my fingers that i get it.

COLOUR BLOCKING VS NEON COLOURS

Finally we are in spring the most appreciated season ,Hope everybody is as excited about it as me.So
whats happening during this season, yes we party iam talking about house parties.beach parties iam literally talking about party after party after party.

And what about the fashion trend for spring 2012.Yeah! how can this be forgotten,So last season we saw the colour block trend.i mean every Mary.Jane and Sibongile was rocking it and i also did and loved it.It gave me the freedom  and confidence to play around with colours while still looking good.Well as we all know not every fashion trend is for everyone  and not everyone was able to rock it instead they did(colour shocking)but this year we see a trend of more brighter than bright colours only this time its called  neon.

I can honestly say im not such a huge fan of the neon trend and will also like to say(sounding like a broken record)its not for evryone.With this trend i will be so selective  and pick few items from this trend,cause with this neon i like 2 colours the green and yellow.So my pick will be  a nail polish wich i already have,a neckpiece,a bag and yes  a pair of stunning heels  and some  belts to accesorize.But that how far i will go with the trend.

Colour blocking  was fine and still is my favourite.Now that neon is in, i  prefer colour blocking so what is your take on the 2 trend will you still colour block or go neon wild .

OMBRE HAIR TREND!

 

 

 

 

 

 

When it comes to hair trend nothing stays on forever and well im not so much of  a risk taker  when it comes to hair.I always like to play it safe till recently i have shown signs of coming out of my comfortzone and the shell i was in and be daring.Well not so daring though just a little you know how they say easy does it, And my  first attemp was to put  a  black weave  with highlights of blonde.

 

Now there's a new trend that i have noticed and took an instant like to it,the ombre hair some call it double dipped,But whatever you choose to call it i love the hair and think will be perfect for spring change  hence im one paticular person who loves long hair#about me.Before i go on and on abouthow i love this lets me tell you where does ombre hair originate from,Its a french word which means"gradually shaded"it describe a hair colour technique where the roots are a dark colour  and the lighter shade is worked in to the hair from about halfway down.Mmmmmmm!im impressed with the info i gathered for this  topic.It show how much i love this look.

 

Bright colours are surely popping up  and yes even in hair.

RIDING SOLO / SO LONG MR RIGHT

Wow!is the first thing that came to mind when i thought ive been on this sigle road for quite a while and i survived all along so proud of myself. If theres one thing common amongs us is the road we all embark on the road called love.its never an easy jouyney but at times its worth it.well in my experience the journey in that road was fun and enjoyed every moment i was on it. The relationship road is not always a smooth road sometimes bumpy,got sharp curves and all the nasty things.yet i was enjoying the ride,the journey was good then it was not so good because i was on the road that was not taking me to my desired destination.i changed the direction i took the road riding solo.Very happy with my desicion for now its nice being single

i enjoy being single especially coming out of a serious relationship,its quite liberating to be honest and also fun did i mention freeing to be not in a relationship.once your out of it you start to feel how good it is to be by yourself*pure bliss*

Truth is i sometimes miss being a couple,miss all the nice thing you get up to when your in a relationship.the gifts you get, being taken out,the wondefull messages and being adored when you feeling down.love or being in a relationship is good as long as the feeling is mutual. however i dont regret the decision i took to go solo. Last but not least releationship is a full time job,dont apply if your not ready to work hard as like evrything needs hardwork to succeed and prosper. To those in relationships keep it alive and encourage each other to greatness.For me its so lon mr roght you are not right for me at the moment. lotsa lipglossy love tricia
